May 18, 2003 In the rear of 204 Pleasant St. A single call came in for a brush fire. It ended up being a camp fire.
May 4, 2003 End of Congress St. Major Brush Fire Calls were received for a brush fire. The first in brush truck reported over an acre involved and called for the crew of Station 1 to respond with Engine 11. Upon arrival of E-11 the on duty captain called for Engine 9. Soon afterwards Engine 7 was special called to the scene as well as the last 2 units off for station coverage and scene support
March 6, 2003 Mammoth Road Right on the town line Both Lowell and Dracut were called for a fire in the area of Skyline. the actual fire was in Lowell. This would have been a second alarm fire if it Dracut did not respond as mutual aid.
95 Pleasant St. The first in units called for a first alarm assignment, Within a few minutes the call went to three (3) alarms. Lowell Engine 3 responded to Station 1 on mutual aid station coverage.
Oxford Road Structure Fire The family's dog that was in the house was rescued by the responding units
Wisteria Path December 6, 2002 @ 0115 hours Unit 2 Minutes after clearing the scene on Woodbine Path units responded one street over on Wisteria Path for another chimney fire.
Woodbine Path December 6, 2002 @ 0015 hours Unit 2 This was a small chimney fire in a residence.
Mill St. & Tennis Plaza Road November 19, 2002 @ 1730 hours Unit 2 A call came in for a brush fire behind Tennis Plaza Road. Police arrived on scene and said the fire was behind Mill St. The fire was located on an island between the two streets in the wood. The fire itself was a campfire that spread to tent. Unit 2 Collinsville gets it again!!!
Skyline Drive Dracut/Lowell line October 19,2002 @ 2330 hours Unit 2 Collinsville Numerous 911 calls were made to both Dracut Fire and Police as well as Lowell Fire. Both depts responded and found a clubhouse built by area kids fully involved. The crews knocked down the fire and prevented it from spreading.
Unit 2 The call came in for a garage at 308 Emery St. Upon arrival the crew of Engine 1 found a small 8 x 10 shed fully involved. The fire was quickly knocked down. September 22, 2002
This was the second time in less then 6 hours that the crew of Station 1 had to come and extinguish a brush fire on Cass Ave. Winds and dry conditions rekindled a fire from earlier in the day. (May 5, 2002 approx. 1900 hours) (Pictures by Steve Brady)
This was a garage fire at an empty house on Rt. 38 Bridge St next door to Dunkin Doughnuts. The fire spread to the surrounding brush, and touched off a brush fire, but was extinguished before it reached the house on the property. (April 2001) (Pictures courtesy of Brenda Miller)
Reports came on for a structure fire in the area of Brox Farm on Rt. 113. The first arriving Engine company found the second floor fully engulfed. The crews on scene put up a valiant fight but the house was eventually destroyed. (Pictures courtesy of Brenda Miller)
