What do Firefighting and Biking have in common? They both require good equipment and physical fitness. So does Biking. That's why the "Dracut Firefighter's Union" purchased this 24' Specialized "Hot Rock" bicycle from Foxco Bicycles, located right here in Dracut, to be given away at our activity day. Safety is a firefighter's business and having a quality bicycle assembled by a perfectionist like Bill ensures every nut and bolt on the bike is tight. Also, both the firefighters and Bill agree that whether it's Firefighting or Biking a helmet is a must. So Bill was nice enough to offer a free bike helmet to the lucky winner of the bike. Dracut Firefighters Activity Day September 28, 2002
Dear Patron, On Behalf of the Dracut Fire Fighters Union, I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for your continued support. Your donations enable us to sponsor many local charitable events, scholarships, and youth activities in the Town of Dracut, as well as our annual activity day. In addition to the financial support we have received I would also like to thank you for your continued emotional support we have received following the tragedies of September 11th. We certainly do appreciate the respect we have been shown by the Town of Dracut, and will continue to strive to be worthy of it. Sincerely, Christopher Coalter President Dracut Fire Fighters Union I.A.F.F. Local #2586 (reprinted from the Activity Day Program booklet)
